Back from the depths of Winchester, VA.

Well, I'm back and really glad to be home. Winchester was rather boring for me and not really constructive at all. We celebrated the 4th over at Eric's parents property and the 4th just happens to be my father-n-law's birthday. (We bought him a $100.00 gift card from Home Depot and took him out to Outback for lunch today.)

It rained most of the time when we were out in the sticks,however, I did get much needed rest. While the boys did some work around the property, I slept in the car, as my neck was killing me and I just needed a break.

The property is beautiful with nature surrounding the area. We saw deer, horses, cows and a 1,000 fire-flies during the early evening hours. It was amazing and I love nature. I love the fact that it was peaceful outside and no toxic smells of air pollution. The air was pure and it was really enjoyable to be so far outside of DC. Although,I missed DC greatly, and I got home sick. The house is coming along nicely. I just wish that I had some energy to put in as the guys were there doing their work. I felt badly about it, but my neck was killing me. Monday I am going to make another doctors appointment just to be on the safe side. The pain comes and goes and I'm just tired of it.

Tonight, I am being a lazy goth and just stay inside away from noisy clubs. I have a lot to look forward this week and I hope that everyone has had a great holiday weekend.

Thanks to everyone who supported Exposure! You guys rocked and thanks for the wonderful compliments. I think that in my opinion my set could have been better, but I was in serious pain with my neck. The alcohol didn't help either as I was trying to use this as a pain reliever. Oh yeah, and I'm a freaking cluts. Everyone looked great and the party was great. Thanks for the Exposure peeps for having me and I hope to return again in the future.

DJ COPPERTOP

Some people remember her by the name DJ Duracell. Mark (tonedeaf records) licensed the name "Copper Top" when she did the Vinyl Conflict mix released in 2003. She has been promoting and DJing, combined, for about fifteen years. Copper Top promoted club raves in the early 90s, and got deeper into the darker + synthpop genres in the mid to late 90s. She has booked dozens and dozens of national/international acts in the last decade and more. Copper Top began to get serious about DJing in the last six years. She prefers to beat match and craft her set like electronica DJs, and not so much like "request" or mobile DJs. Each has their place!! Her ultimate goals are to see more genre-crossing electronica/dark electronica events, and to see the darker and synthpop DJs respected by their own scene and by the other electronic scenes as well. DJ Copper Top has released six DJ mixes on labels, including the Tone Deaf release in 2003; a label mix for the "A Different Drum" label in January, 2005; two live label mixes for "Infacted Records" out of Germany on July 11, 2005 and June 25, 2006; a licensed DJ club mix "Hysteria" on her own label: Amalgam, July 31, 2005; and finally the latest live and licensed DJ mix "Dirt Cheap", also on Amalgam, released September 1, 2006. She has spun in over 50 cities, in six countries, to nearly 25,000 fans.

STEVE EP

Steve EP has been bringing "80's genre" parties to the DC area for many years. One of the masterminds behind FYM productions, Steve Ep is responsible for such events as, Cry Fest Smiths vs Cure, 80's Mayhem and most recently the Depeche Mode party.

VASARANOXXUL

Vasara has been modeling for over 6 years. Most of her experience is with print work, glamor, fine art, artistic nudes, and fetish fashion. She also has done a lot of figure work, mainstream fashion, and some runway shows. "I'm very interested in artistic collaboration, and also in being the canvas for another's vision. My goal is not to just be some pretty girl in a pretty picture, but to be involved in creating striking and emotive imagery. I adore self-expression and a well developed sense of aesthetics."

Hurry up and get here. I want to go on rides that I haven't on on in a long time, I want to freak out the norms and I want to ~~probably~~ wear a anti-religious shirt so people can go, WTF? Yeah, Saturday is going to rock and I am going to love every minute of it. The coolest part of all, is that we will get our Stimulus check on Friday! Oh yeah! May the debauchery shine and may the fun begin. I think that I just found out what I am going to be wearing.

We got the photo proofs back from nothingoth they look fantastic and I can't wait to show you guys some wonderful pictures that the Chad took from my graduation. The belly dancer pictures with me dancing with the belly dancer are great and I can't believe that I wasn't too terrible or was booed off of the floor! Ha!

A friend of mine is having a birthday, today and I'd like to wish caitri a very happy birthday! I hope that your man treats you to a nice dinner and a relaxing evening in the land of Tx. :)

We just bought our Freak Day @ Kings Dominion tickets, which was much cheaper and very easy to do on line. We decided to print out our tickets and get the electronic versions instead. There was no way to get them delivered. Again, since this is legit and we are def. going to be there, if anyone wants to travel with us, I'd suggest to buy your tickets asap. You'll save a lot of money and its cheaper! You can go over to justaputz's live journal and he has all the KD information for you! Buy your discounted tickets,today!

Working out hurts like hell

When you haven't worked out in a week and it shows. My legs are killing me after the chaos of a walk/running that I did all over the city and working out this morning really hurts. As a wuss that I am, I only worked out for about 20 minutes and had to stop. My neck is doing much better as I self adjusted my neck and I feel much better.

Its nice having the TV off and hearing only typing off of the keyboard. This is my last post for the weekend and I hope that everyone has a great time and please be safe. Happy Father's Day to the wonderful father's that I know and adore.;)

We have several new and old movies that both Eric and I picked out from our netflix queue.
Since we can pick up to four movies, Eric and I are getting two of each.

OK it seems there's only one classic in our queue,however, if you haven't seen Casablanca, I'd recommend it. That was my pick of the week and is an old time favorite of mine. Yeah, tease me all you want, but every now and then;I love a good classic...

If you want to come over, we will have pop corn and soda. If you want to bring booze, that is up to you guys.

Next week for my graduation present, Eric is buying me two passes to Kings Dominion and I'm very much excited. We will have room in our car if others would like to go.

We are going to be at Freak Day at Kings Dominion on June 28th. It our 8th year anniversary.;)

I know that there are a lot of Duran Duran fans out there, however, I've just learned that Nick Rhodes's father passed away last week. I really feel awful about that and really think that Nick is one amazing person because he could have simply canceled out on the Merriweather Post Pavilion show and didn't do it. Wow. This is very tragic news.

I should have listened to my conscious this morning about working out. I wave the white flag and will rest up all day tomorrow. I'm going to soak in a nice hot bath for a while so I can get the pain out of my lower back to where my knee is aching. I seriously think that I pushed myself too hard today.

Its not going to stop me from seeing Iscintilla tonight at Exposure. The rain Gods better stay the fuck away and you all can now go back to your regular scheduled programs. Oh and for those who are out tonight and give good massages, please be at assistance tonight.;)
