I brought home a kitten about a week and a half ago. She's about four months old, and almost obscenely adorable. She's also terrifically good-natured; she let me clip her nails on her first day home, and she gets along great with the whole family [including my older cat]. These pictures are all from her first day here, when she was still confined to a bathroom. But I have to say, she does match the decor quite well.

I might check it out there..I do have 5 free movie tickets to see various movies but they are for a diff type of theater, not this one, but it would be fun to see it with the Freaks that normally congregate with ys at these meet ups...

And I can go in COSTUME..but who on the team is short enough for me to play..

Wow, 4 days did not fly by, they actually crawled, and rightfully so.

Friday we slept in past noon. I mean, *REALLY* slept in past noon. I think both of us were very tired from the week before and needed some heavy downtime.

Well, we did exactly do downtime.

We had malstria's brother over to hang ouot for the day, and just kind of ran a couple of errands here and there. We went to see Wanted that night (again, great flick, highly recommended) and enjoyed that much more than fireworks. The bro went home after the movie, and we crashed out.

Saturday had us up again around noon. That day to us to Point Defiance and the zoo there. We had a great time seeing the Lemure exhibition and taking some wonderful pictures of them. The meerkats were not on display though, so we trogged through piles of kids to make our way around the zoo.

(Note for those of you with kids, or planning to have them: Please, please, PLEASE, if you go to a zoo, DO NOT let those little bundles of your joy bump, step on, push, or randomly poke and jab other people while they are there. I can count on both hands the number of times little brats kept doing these things to malstria while she was trying to take pictures of animals. Just a PSA. Thanks.)

We enjoyed the zoo for the most part, and the random drizzling of rain we got helped make the day cooler than it was supposed to be. We then went home, and although we had planned to just sit around the house, we ended up running about to a couple more places and not getting home till late that night. We watched most of a movie, then crashed.

Sunday we had Dim Sum with some friends, stopped in Waji's for a while, then headed home to run a couple more errands we thought of that morning. The rest of the day was a bit of the vegging at home.

Monday we went out with Mom to rent to hall, had some lunch, and drove about Mukilteo for a little bit looking at the houses in the area (just to enjoy). We then came home, and vegged for the rest of the night.

Yea, we did alot, but enjoyed it the whole time. And now, another work week!

01:12 am - Yawn, ANOTHER late night out on the town! When will it end!

Met up with Katie at pirates Tavern, which was pretty dead there and humid as hell..then took off to see a J-rock ish band at the Black Cat called Boris, they were really good. More rockish metal. The guy had a double headed guitar, it was pretty sweet sounding, even though I could barely understand what he was saying, even though he was speaking Japanese most of the time. Right next to the speakers and my right ear is still half deaf.mmmm its good though.

I'm so frigging exhausted..going out 6 nights in a row has me beat, and this is the earliest I have come in all week. I must be getting old.

May go to Exposure this Thurs, or a movie, still need to see Iron Man.

I have 5 free movie tickets and only 1 girl willing (desperate)enough to go out with me lol

My go to Midnight this Sat, dance, strip naked, dance, ect.

Argh, to bed I go!

Took me 39 1/2 years to get my first tat, but since then, I have induldged in 4 more. Now I am working on tat #6 which will be a triquerta with the astrological signs for my children and myself. But I am waiting for pool season to be over before I go back for my needle fix <g>

Now lets see if I can post these. This is my first one.....Done in Collingwood, Ontario Canada by a great guy named Cam....he works for the company I work for and does tats on the side.

I got my first and second tatt to cover scars from broken leg surgery, subsequent infection and scarring.. I was very self conscious about showing my leg and after going to a dermatologist, plastic surgeon etc with no luck, I thought this was my best option.. I love seeing other people tatts as well.. love watching Miami Ink...lol

not the best pic but you get the idea...the ankle was done first over a bad infection scar and the leg was done by another artist to cover incision scars and screw removal scar.

Okay, so after many headaches and trying to remember how to post pictures and do a cut, I did it! I'm so proud, haha.

So I am in love with tattoos. I have 4, and just about every member of my family has them...my mom just got her first at 48, and is planning a half back piece. So I told my mom at 6 years old I wanted a tattoo. And she told me that if I felt that way at 18, to go for it. So I did.

I'm on the batnets. You can see me BRIEFLY on two Dark Knight viral videos depicting Harvey Dent. The footage was taken back from when they had the Dent Campaign Vans come into Georgetown. (For the record, I did ask the "campaign workers" about Mr. Dent's position on government-funded psychiatric assistance for schizophrenics)

This is the tattoo that I waited ten years to find the right person to draw and apply.  This is after the second session.  I have had my third and fourth sessions since these pictures were taken.  Total so far is about 16 hours.  This tattoo will eventually be a full sleeve.  I have three other tattoos as well, but pregnancy does bad things to tattoos on the lower stomach hip area.  The other is on my upper arm and my sleeve will intertwine with it.
